About Some Fruits II

The use of Shou Sugi Ban, a traditional Japanese wood-burning technique, further enhances the artistic value of the piece. This method involves charring the wood's surface, which not only creates a beautiful, blackened patina but also imbues the wood with enhanced durability and resistance to elements. Hardening the piece with water and protecting it with natural, water-based varnishes that penetrate deep into the burnished structure ensures the longevity and integrity of the artwork. Finally, the finishing touch with felt polishes imparts a smoothness and luster that not only enhances the tactile experience but also elevates the visual appeal of the art piece.
