About the Limbic Chair

The Limbic Chair is a neuroergonomic seat consisting of two flexible shells that allow weightless, free movement of the body, hips and legs. The shells rest on a height-adjustable Y-shaped centrepiece, which is attached to a base with five movable castors. This is Swiss engineering that gets you moving. Customise the Limbic Chair to your individual requirements using the five built-in movement sensors. Simple zooming and scrolling on your computer? Count steps and analyse your training status? VR gaming with advanced functions? The Limbic Chair makes all this and more possible - hands-free.

About Limbic Life

Dr Patrik Künzler followed in the footsteps of Nobel Prize winner Susumu Tonegawa and studied an area of medicine known as the "limbic system" at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The term describes the part of the brain responsible for emotional reactions, learning and memory recall. He was excited by the idea of creating devices that could improve human well-being, happiness and brain performance - all based on scientific learning about the limbic system. Together with his business partner and head of technology Mark van Raai, Patrik founded Limbic Life with the determination to optimise the connection between brain and body using evolutionary science.
