About Jumping Hours Rising Sun Edition

The Rising Sun Edition is Andersen Genève's latest interpretation of Jumping Hours complications, in which the hour is displayed through a window in the dial and "jumps" from one hour to the next. The dial of this edition is dominated by a mesmerising "magical Losange" pattern, while a hobnail pattern adorns the minute dial. Seen up close, this guilloché pattern makes the surface of the dial shimmer incredibly in different light, highlighting the rich colour contrast between the red gold and the 950 platinum case. The back of the watch is equally fascinating: a sapphire crystal case back reveals the immaculate hand-finishing of the movement, including the Côtes de Genève decoration and the mirror polishing of the screw heads, all carried out by Andersen Genève watchmakers. The movement is rounded off by a majestically decorated 18-carat red gold rotor winder surrounded by a 21-carat blue gold ring.
