Description

This watch marks the 40th anniversary of Andersen Genève's independent timepiece creation and is limited to a production of 40 timepieces only. The dial of the watch features a mesmerizing "magic losange" guilloché pattern hand-engraved into a dial surface made from a signature material called 21ct BlueGold, which is created by heating 24ct gold mixed with iron elements to achieve a radiant blue colour. The reverse of the watch features a sapphire glass case-back that reveals the beautiful finishing of the movement, including an 18ct yellow gold rotor decorated with a "grain d'orge" guilloché pattern. The watch is powered by the Frédéric Piguet 11.50 movement, known for its slim dimensions and long power reserve of 60 hours.

With this watch, Andersen Genève presents an exceptionally refined interpretation of the classic Jumping Hours complication, in which the hour is displayed digitally and the minutes with a hand - a traditional yet elegant option in the art of watchmaking. Andersen Genève has taken this concept to a new level of craftsmanship with its latest model in platinum 950. The hour is displayed through a window at 12 o'clock, while the minutes tick discreetly on a beautiful sub-dial at 6 o'clock. On either side of the sub-dial are two plaques bearing the inscriptions "1980" and "2020", commemorating the company's first 40 years.
