About Welter's 7 Star Panels
For several years, a team worked on revitalising a centuries-old process for producing three-dimensionally designed surfaces. The recipe based on bonded chalk and kaolin - originally intended for decorating small surfaces such as picture frames or sculptures - was modified in elaborate experiments so that it became possible to use this material on large surfaces. Now it can be used by the company's creative minds as a base material for uniquely beautiful wall panels. As fantastic as the result is, the effort required to manufacture this product is also huge: depending on the surface, employees sometimes work up to thirty hours on a single square metre of these marvels.
